Tell me if this sounds like you:

You want to feed your family without stress and a huge time commitment.

You need clarity about what to feed them but also how to go about feeding them.

You have too much information coming at you about what to eat, but you're not sure if it's correct or science-backed.

You've over trying every recipe, paid meal plan, delivery service, (the list goes on and on).

You're tired of feeling like you'll never figure out how to sustainably feed your family.

You wish there was a way to make meals that fit into your lifestyle, food preferences, and time constraints.

Good news!

I help my clients with those same problems every single day. And if you're like any of them, you've probably made some of the same mistakes.

Mistakes like...

Mistake 1:

I'm too busy to cook

Adults have a lot of responsibilities, inside and outside the home and that can leave a lot of parents feeling like cooking meals at home is just a pipe dream, not a reality.

The truth is:

Cooking meals at home is much healthier and less expensive

Meal together gives parents the opportunity to spend time with their kids

And studies show that kids who eat with their families are better off physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Mistake 2:

Meals need to be elaborate and perfect

There is pressure on parents now, more than ever, to feel like meals need to be picture perfect, or that their meals have to look a certain way for it to be worth making.

The truth is:

Stressing about creating perfect meals makes it even harder to create meals your family loves because you're complicating the process

And simple meals are just as good as elaborate ones, which kids tend to enjoy more than something fancy.

Mistake 3:

I'll figure it out as I go

Due to busy schedules and live on the go, some parents don't take the time to plan out meals for their families.

The truth is:

Throwing meals together last minute can actually have a lot of negative effects on your family

Improvising meals is far more stressful than spending a little bit of time planning out a menu

And last minute food often ends up being fast food, which gets real expensive and unhealthy, real quick.

Mistake 4:

Parents are solely responsible for cooking and cleaning

Being the only person to cook and clean everyday causes a lot of stress and resentment.

The truth is:

Giving children responsibility in the home and kitchen teaches them life skills

They'll be more prepared when they leave home someday

And everyone makes messes in the home, therefore everyone needs to have a part in the clean up process.

Mistake 5:

My kids won't eat what I cook, so why even try?

Making meals, especially with picky eaters, can make dinnertime 10 times feel harder than it needs to be

The truth is:

It typically takes kids 10-15 exposures to new food before they will willingly accept and eat it

Each exposure to a new food is a step in the right direction

And with the proper guidance and skills, most parents can help their children reduce or overcome their picky eating tendencies.

Imagine...

There was a way to develop your own meals that fit into your family's ideal situation all of the time...

You didn't have to ask every single night, "What should we have for dinner?"...

You could enjoy meal time without the stress and drama of figuring out what to eat last minute or picking up fast food...

You could finally have healthy meals ready to go in any situation...

You could quickly make a meal for your family without questioning if anyone will actually eat it...

You could have all of the above with an enjoyable, repeatable process that makes both parents and kids happy...

All of that's possible inside Dinner Development 101

Who is this right for?

Parents who are overworked

Being a parent comes with a lot of responsibility—juggling activities, raising kids, house work—and, of course, the dreaded, never ending chore of cooking meals for a family. Inside Dinner Development 101, we'll give you everything you need to make meal time easier, so you have one less responsibility to stress over.

Parents who are overwhelmed

This is for parents that are overwhelmed. We live in an age of endless possibilities, thanks to the Internet. Unfortunately, endless possibilities are not what you want when it comes to making healthier decisions for your family. When you join, you'll get the tools you need to make your own nutrition decisions, with ways to make your current meals healthier, all while working with your family's preferred food choices.

Parents that are overcomplicating

Cooking for your family may be new to you and you're overcomplicating how to find the best systems and practices for keeping up good cooking habits. From developing your own personal meal guidelines to keeping your kitchen clean and organized, you’ll go from newbie to pro-meal-planner-status.

Basically, this is for you if...

You want to quit stressing about finding meals that fit into your family's life.

You want to try a meal rotation, but don't know where to get started.

You want to feed your family healthier meals, but you're overwhelmed by all of the endless information on the Internet.

You've tried a few recipes, but you're overwhelmed when your family won't eat the meals you spent hours cooking.

You want an easy, straightforward system to help you develop meals your family will love in less time.

On the flip-side...

This is not for you if...

You're looking for a pre-made meal plan that doesn't consider your family's lives/schedules or food preferences.

You prefer to crowdsource free groups rather than get real, actionable strategy from experts.

You're not interested in developing a large pool of meals that your family will love.

You like to stay stuck in the stress and be overwhelmed instead of doing something about your meal time troubles.

You would prefer to scrape together last-minute meals every night instead of having a straightforward, simple plan.

Hi, I'm Dayna!

I'm a Certified Health and Nutrition coach who teaches parents how to personalize meals for their family so that they can stop stressing about what to eat everyday and take their time and health into their own hands—for themselves and their kids.

I am a wife and mom to five awesome kids and three chickens (and counting—to my husband's dismay). I'm fluent in movie quotes and am also a huge advocate of the Oxford comma.

My favorite thing in the world is my family—but my second favorite thing is helping everyday people learn how to thrive by developing better health habits.

Why I created this program:

I wanted to package up what I learned and share it with more people because no parent should have to constantly worry about what they should be feeding their kids. And they definitely shouldn't have to waste time or money trying to figure it out on their own.

I also wanted to help fellow parents learn what works for their family without paying for meal plans that aren't tailored to them, or expensive meal subscriptions that aren't optimized for families.

And I thought, hey, when you figure something out and see serious success, you shouldn't keep all that goodness to yourself!

I believe that every parent has the ability to make sustainable changes to their family's meals—even if they don't know it yet... or how to get started.

What's inside

Dinner Development 101

Lesson 1: INTRODUCTION

Just like you can't build a stable house without a proper foundation, you can't build long-lasting health skills without learning the basics of planning and developing meals.

In Lesson 1, you'll get an introduction to the course and learn about building key health practices that will give you the capacity to plan and prepare meals that fit into your life.

Lesson 2: VISUALIZE

Planning meals won't do anything for you unless you know what you're planning for.

We'll start off the course by visualizing your ideal situation and food values and use that to create a Meal Manifesto to guide your choices throughout the rest of the course.

Lesson 2 provides the clarity you need to figure out what you want from your meals.

Lesson 3: PRIORITIZE

Learn how to decide what in your kitchen is helping you reach your health goals and what is holding you back from your full potential.

Lesson 3 gives you the tools you need to keep your home in line with your Meal Manifesto guidelines and to declutter the kitchen so you can start cooking with a clean slate.

An organized kitchen is a goal reaching kitchen.

Lesson 4: CATEGORIZE

Here you're going to learn how to use my signature Rotation Personalization System to categorize and customize recipes so your meals fit into your family's preferences—making dinner time more enjoyable for everyone!

You'll also learn how to use different tools to store and categorize your existing recipes and possible new meal ideas. I'll give you access to my proprietary spreadsheet and teach you how to use a Trello board to organize your recipes through all stages of development.

Cut down on the (never ending) time it takes to sift through recipes—all while keeping your family happy.

Lesson 5: PERSONALIZE

In Lesson 5 you'll discover inspiration for finding new meals to try and ways to implement those meals in your everyday life.

Got a picky eater? Don't worry—I'll give you some strategies for helping everyone in the family—including your picky eater—to enjoy dinner more, even when trying new recipes.

This lesson is a game changer!

Lesson 6: STRATEGIZE

Half of the battle of making dinner is squeezing in the time to cook.

In Lesson 6, you'll learn the time management strategies and tools you need to prepare meals and cook according to your schedule. Inside, I'll teach you my 4 methods of meal preparation to streamline meal time and keep you out of the kitchen more:

-Aligning

-Cooking in Components

-Base Cooking

-Batch Cooking

You'll even get to see a real calendar with real meals, planned out using these 4 methods!

Lesson 7: COMPROMISE

Cooking is only the first battle—getting kids to behave while eating, and then cleaning up afterwards is a whole other ball game!

Learn how to get the whole family involved in not only dinner preparation, but cleaning up afterwards.

In Lesson 7, you'll get inspiration and stay organized with these 3 charts:

-Who's Cooking?

-Children's Cooking Tasks (by age)

-After Dinner Jobs

Lesson 8: ANALYZE

There's no point in making goals if you don't know how to evaluate the work you've done and how to take the next steps towards your end objective.

In Lesson 8, you’ll learn small ways you can take action today to move towards your target, including how to break goals down into smaller, more manageable steps.

If you struggle to make and follow through with your goals, this lesson is exactly what you've been looking for.
